Starting a healthy lifestyle does not have to be complicated. Here are some simple lifestyle changes to start a healthy lifestyle:* 

  1. 1.Exercise Regularly

The first step toward  a healthy lifestyle is to exercise regularly. Don’t worry, you don’t always have to do intense workouts like jogging and going to the gym. You can start with light exercise or activities you enjoy the most. 

The main key is to make sure your body is always actively moving every day, at least for 30 minutes per day or 150 minutes per week. This aims to burn body calories and help more oxygen flow into the body’s cells.* 

2. Consume Healthy Foods 

If you want to achieve a healthy life, it is important to eat healthy foods, such as vegetables and fruits. Try cooking your own meals at home to maintain the cleanliness and health of the food consumed. 

If you used to have unhealthy diet, try tracking the food consumed every day. This effort can help control the desire to eat excessive portions, so that your body’s health can be better maintained.

4. Managing Stress 

Physical health is influenced not just by diet and activity, but also by mental health. People with high levels of stress tend to be more susceptible to health problems, such as acid reflux disease (GERD). 

When facing pressure or stress, first try taking a deep breath and then exhale slowly. Do this repeatedly until you feel more relaxed. Then, find a fun activity, such as watching a movie, reading a book, or other hobbies. 

5. Get Enough Sleep 

Ensuring that your body gets enough rest can help create a healthy body and mind. Therefore, aim for 7–9 hours of sleep each night, going to bed and waking up at the same time. daily. To relax before going to bed, try taking a warm bath, listening to calming music, or reading a book before going to bed. These habits help your body unwind and improve sleep quality. 

Remember, a healthy lifestyle is a journey, not a destination. Start with small, manageable steps and be consistent. Over time, these simple habits can lead to lasting changes that improve your overall well-being. Take care of your body, nourish your mind, and enjoy the process of becoming the healthiest, happiest version of yourself.
